Paul Cassar

Paul Cassar – Principal Dental Surgeon

Paul Cassar qualified from Guys Hospital, London in 1987, having previously completed a degree in Biology at Kings College. After qualifying Paul was a House Surgeon at Guys, a Senior House Surgeon at Orpington and Bromley Hospital. Paul then entered General practice in Havant and Portsmouth before taking over Grange Dental Surgery from his predecessor Mr Frank Grainger in 1993.

Paul is committed to continual investment in the practice equipment and has a most technically advanced surgery. Paul specialises in root canal therapy. He was one of the first general practitioners in the UK to own a Zeiss Microscope and has continued to use magnification to help all aspects of surgery. Paul has great enthusiasm for dentistry and is also very keen on cosmetic aspects of dentistry and has embraced the Zoom Whitening bleaching system. Although working mainly privately, Paul offers the highest standard of modern non invasive preventative practice. He can also use air abrasion techniques instead of using the dental drill in certain situations.

Fiona Keoghane

Fiona Keoghane – Associate Dental Surgeon

Fiona Keoghane qualified from Guys Dental Hospital, London in 1989. She then obtained a coveted house surgeon position at Guys, during which time she was awarded the LDS qualification from The Royal College of Surgeons. She then did further hospital training in Queen Alexander Hospital, Portsmouth and Wexham Park Hospital in Slough.

After extensive surgical training, marriage led to a move to Gloucestershire and fourteen years were spent in two different general dental practices gaining a wide experience of NHS and private dentistry.

A family move to the south coast led to Fiona joining Grange Dental Surgery in 2006, where she continues to practice dentistry to a high standard in a caring, relaxed environment. She has a cheerful manner, is highly professional and is a valued member of the team. She is comemitted to continued professional development to enhance her skills and knowledge.

Wendy Cassar

Wendy Cassar – Hygienist

Wendy qualified at Guy's Hospital, London in 1987 and then started working in general practice in Maidenhead. During this time, Wendy continued as Staff Hygienist at Guy's Hospital as well as working as Oral Health Advisor for the Marks & Spencer Maidenhead store. Wendy married in 1993 and moved to Liss while continuing her work at Guy's Hospital. Wendy joined Grange Dental Surgery in 1993.

Helen Pickard

Helen Pickard – Hygienist

Helen qualified from Bristol University Dental Hospital in 1987 and later worked there as a staff hygienist before working in various parts of the country in general dental practice. She currently works in two practices working alongside various specialists including an oral surgeon, an endodontist, and orthodontist and a periodontist specialising in the treatment of gum disease.
